Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced construction worker with a good work ethic, a history of consistent attendance, and a great attitude to join our team. You’ll work under our construction manager’s direction, alongside a close-knit team of other skilled laborers and tradesmen, to bring our construction/remodel plans to life. The ideal candidate will have previous home building/home renovation experience, and have knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment. Compensation:$47,000 yearly DOE
Responsibilities:- Load, unload, and transfer tools and building materials such as lumber, tile, saws, sheetrock, grout, etc.
- Aid tradesmen, sub-contractors and craft workers such as painters, roofers, plasterers, carpenters, and electricians, as necessary
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment such as jackhammers, survey equipment, and forklifts as required
- Adhere to all directions from the construction manager, and work with other team members to complete construction projects accurately
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required - Trade certification, associate’s degree, and/or completed apprenticeship program is highly preferred
- Previous construction experience, knowledge of construction methods, tools and equipment, and an understanding of blueprints and construction plans is required
- Comfortable working in inclement weather, like extreme temperatures, rain, etc.
- Own a valid driver's license
- Strong depth perception, good eye-hand coordination, and mechanical skills are helpful
